RENAULT Trucks, which by the way belongs to VOLVO, decided to use the success in Formula 1 and showed a tractor series T High Renault Sport Racing. Only 100 pieces will be made. And they will be visible from afar, as they are painted in the colors of the racing team.

MAN demonstrated the development of its Caravan system. Now she can assemble up to seven cars on the highway and drive them behind the leader. As the developers say, this will increase traffic safety, reduce fuel consumption and emissions, as well as increase driving time. After all, riding in this mode is not included in the driver's working hours.

But E Truck from MAN is getting closer to the series. The twenty-six-ton electric truck is well-suited for cabotage with its ability to drive 180 kilometers. But then again you have to stop for an hour and a half. Somehow imperceptibly, an hour and a half shift becomes a good tone.

SCANIA from Sweden are big conservatives and stubbornly cling to the internal combustion engine. True, all of the 23 models presented on the stand work on liquefied gas.

The second largest vehicle at the exhibition in Hanover was the bus. SCANIA has a new Interlink MD with a hybrid transmission and also a gas one. But MERCEDES prefers electric traction for city buses. When ordering a new E-CITARO, the client can choose how many battery modules to install. That is, you can very precisely configure the bus for specific routes. Under ideal conditions, a fourteen-ton car can travel 250 kilometers through the city with 88 passengers on board.

Another new feature is the high-deck tourist SETRA S531 DT. In addition to many new solutions, this car first introduced an automatic braking system when pedestrians or cyclists appeared in the dead zones. IVECO also has a city electric bus. This is a twelve-meter machine model GX. She has already passed all the tests and is fully ready for regular flights. Power reserve of 180 kilometers, capacity of 100 people. The included fast charging system allows you to pour 60% of energy into batteries in 30 minutes.

Of course, most of all on the stands was small and medium commercial vehicles. IVECO announced that its stand will be free from diesel engines. Depending on the destination, the Italians decided to rely on gas and electric drive. Daily Blue Power and Daily Electric Minibus stood side by side on the stand.

VW uses its home exhibition to promote E-CRAFTER. Right on the stand, you can order an electric machine in different dimensions with a new automatic system that ensures uniform consumption of electricity. The electric van can be charged from an ordinary outlet and is able to drive 173 kilometers. Since the batteries are hidden under the floor of the cargo compartment, its volume has not changed. Already the price is: from 82,705 euros.

MAN has exactly the same van. The eTGE is absolutely identical in technique, but its power reserve, for some reason, is 160 kilometers. Fast charges are attached to it, where you can charge in 45 minutes, and it is cheaper. Prices start at 69,500 euros.

RENAULT Trucks introduced the second generation of the Z.E. It includes the MASTER van and light trucks of the D series. All of them are positioned as intercity transport for use with various add-ons: from a fire truck to a garbage truck.

As the Hannover Motor Show showed, intracity transport was determined to choose the path of electrification, but everything that goes outside the city is at a crossroads. But in the foreseeable future, they will prefer gas fuel. Two typical exhibits showing the paths of this development, a VOLVO FE Electric garbage truck, a quiet and clean truck capable of driving 200 kilometers. This is enough to collect garbage from all the garbage of an average European town. But HYUNDAI, although it is powered by electricity, hydrogen is splashing in its tanks. The large amount of fuel cell work allowed the Koreans to get ahead. The twenty-eight-liter truck is capable of overcoming 650 kilometers on one gas station. And the service life is declared 15 years. And in the epilogue, two autopilot concepts, without steering and without pedals.
